
Bayes Theorem is the main event space at the Bayes Centre and accommodates many routine and high-profile events and meetings for internal and external audiences. It is set up in a lecture theatre style with chairs arranged to face the screens and podium. Unfortunately, this room's layout cannot be changed.
This room has a maximum capacity of 50 during normal working hours of 09:00 – 17:00. This increases to 80 after 17:00 for evening events.

Food and drink are not permitted inside Bayes Theorem and if catering is required at your event, this will be served in the Atrium.
The heart of the building, the Atrium is the open area when you first enter the Bayes Centre.
Booked in conjunction with the Bayes Theorem, this space is ideal for catering and networking. This space has a maximum capacity of 50 during normal working hours of 09:00 – 17:00. This increases to 80 after 17:00 for evening events. There is limited access to AV but this can be discussed with the Events team during your initial enquiry.
Please note that we do not allow poster boards to be used in our event spaces.

Our Terrace is situated on the fourth floor and boasts amazing views of Arthur’s Seat and the Edinburgh cityscape. This space is only available during the summer months and has limited availability due to shared occupancy.
